Boston Bruins winger Justin Florek impressed in his first NHL Stanley Cup playoff series against the Detroit Red Wings.
The winger has filled in admirably for Chris Kelly on the B’s third line, playing with confidence and fitting in smoothly after spending the majority of the season with the Providence Bruins. Florek told NESN’s Jack Edwards after Boston’s Game 5 win that his seamless transition is a testament to the depth of the Bruins organization and he also gave credit to his teammates who made him feel comfortable instantly.
