To the victors go the spoils.

Charlotte Bobcats guard Kemba Walker, a University of Connecticut alum, was very pleased with the outcome of Monday night’s NCAA championship game, which his beloved Huskies won 60-54 over Kentucky.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist was not pleased, however.

The former Kentucky star paid the price for his school’s demise after the game when Walker forced him to don a UConn T-shirt with Kemba’s No. 15 on the front. Check out Walker’s Instagram photo below.

Both Walker and Kidd-Gilchrist know what it feels like to win it all. The former UConn star willed his Huskies to the 2011 NCAA title and was voted the Final Four’s Most Outstanding Player. Kidd-Gilchrist was part of a star-studded Wildcats squad that brought home the championship the following year.

Despite Monday night’s outcome, Walker and Kidd-Gilchrist are getting along just fine in Charlotte, where the Bobcats have clinched an NBA playoff spot for just the second time in their 10-year history.
