Even the presence of the immortal Swaggy P could not save the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday.

Mr. P (aka Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young) was on hand to support his fellow Staples Center tenants in Game 3 of their series with the San Jose Sharks, and he was pretty tough to miss.

Young rocked his own personalized “Swaggy P” Kings sweater for the occasion (a gift from the team, he says) and got to cruise around the ice on a Zamboni during intermission.

Young’s time to cheer on L.A.’s hockey club might soon be over, though. After a 4-3 loss in Game 3, the Kings are now one defeat away from being right where Swaggy’s Lakers are — out of the playoffs.
