NBA legend Magic Johnson is denying interest in buying the Los Angeles Clippers, despite earlier reports Monday claiming otherwise.

Johnson is part of the Guggenheim Partners, which owns the Los Angeles Dodgers, so it wasn’t completely unreasonable to believe the former Lakers star would be interested in buying the Clippers.
Johnson was included in Clippers owner Donald Sterling’s alleged racist rant. Johnson responded by vowing to never attend a Clippers game as long as Sterling is owner.
