jayzMajor League Lacrosse is not impressed with one of Jay Z’s recent lyrics.

The king of hip-hop appears on DJ Khaled’s “They Don’t Love You No More,” where he raps a verse of disses rumored to have been directed at fellow rapper Drake. While he also calls out the NCAA for not paying college athletes, Hov ends his verse with a line about lacrosse.

“Haters wanna ball, let me tighten up my drawstring/ Wrong sport, boy, you know you soft as a lacrosse team,”

Major League Lacrosse is speaking out against Mr. Carter’s rag on lax bros.

“Lacrosse is often called the fastest sport on two feet. Players are on the field dodging and shooting balls at over 100 miles per hour,? an MLL spokesperson told MTV News on Tuesday.

“With that said we don?t think Jay Z knows what he?s talking about when he calls lacrosse ?soft.? I can guarantee you it is anything but a ?soft? sport.

“Mr. Carter would not last one minute on a lacrosse field during a match and he is more than welcome to come to any of our games and try,” the statement read in closing.

To see Jay Z proving his athletic capabilities with a lacrosse stick in hand would be quite a sight. Here’s to hoping he rises to meet the MLL’s challenge.
