The Detroit Lions will come to Gillette Stadium to play the New England Patriots in Week 12 of the 2014 NFL season.
The full 2014 NFL schedule will be announced on Wednesday at 8 p.m., but one Patriots matchup already is known. The Lions’ schedule was leaked early to the Detroit Free Press, and the Patriots are set for Week 12.
The Patriots will play the the Lions, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets, Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, Cincinnati Bengals and Chicago Bears at home, and the Bills, Dolphins, Jets, Kansas City Chiefs, San Diego Chargers, Indianapolis Colts, Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings on the road next season.
The Lions will play the Bears in an NFC North clash on Thanksgiving.
