The Patriots will open on the road against the Washington Redskins, then will host the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2 and the Carolina Panthers in Week 3 before traveling to play the New York Giants in Week 4.

Dates and times for the games aren’t set.

The Patriots typically hold joint practices with preseason opponents. They practiced with the Eagles in Philadelphia and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Foxboro in 2013. Patriots head coach Belichick is friendly with Eagles head coach Chip Kelly, so their teams could hold another joint practice this season.
