The Boston Bruins wrapped up their regular season on Sunday afternoon in New Jersey, and now they’ll have to sit and wait for their first-round playoff series with the Detroit Red Wings to begin.
The NHL released its playoff schedule Sunday night, and the B’s won’t start their series with the Wings until Friday, April 18 at TD Garden. Game 2 of the series will be an Easter Sunday matinee, and the series continues every other day. A potential Game 7 would be April 30 in Boston.
