Seidenberg, who hasn’t been on the ice since he tore his ACL and MCL in a game against the Ottawa Senators, skated for about 15 minutes Tuesday at Ristuccia Arena, the Herald reported.
Originally, it was believed Seidenberg would miss the remainder of the Bruins’ season, but if the team can make a deep playoff push, there could be a small chance he’d be ready.
The Bruins have done well in filling Seidenberg’s spot, however, using Matt Bartkowski and Andrej Meszaros in the left-handed defenseman’s position.
Another injured Bruins defenseman, Adam McQuaid, also spent some time on the ice Tuesday, the Herald reported. McQuaid hasn’t played since Jan. 19 when he aggravated a quad injury that already had caused him to miss significant time.
