It was a rowdy scene in Dinkytown, Minneapolis following Union College’s victory over Minnesota 7-4 in the NCAA men’s hockey title Saturday night, and one local reporter did not have a fun time covering the unruly crowd.

With Golden Gopher fans lining the streets of the University of Minnesota campus, Fox 9 reporter Jonathan Choe was live on the scene as riot police moved in to control the hordes of students. The poor reporter attempted to report on the situation as it was unfolding, but he was forced to send it back to the studio a couple of times when a number of fans kept interfering with his live shots.

The “idiots” as Choe called them were enthusiastic to say the least when the cameras turned on and the reporter was not amused with them crowding his shots.

Rough night all around for the University of Minnesota.

Check out Choe feeling completely overwhelmed in the video below.
