Before the University of Connecticut’s two national championship teams were honored in a ceremony Tuesday night at Fenway Park, Roxbury, Mass., native Shabazz Napier stopped by “Red Sox First Pitch.”

The senior All-American guard, who also threw out the first pitch, told NESN’s Tom Caron that it still feels “surreal” that his seventh-seeded squad claimed the program’s fourth national title in a thrilling 60-54 win over Kentucky. The dynamic guard is now turning his attention to the NBA Draft, and the future looks bright for Napier, who saw his draft stock skyrocket during the tournament.
