Masahiro Tanaka, Yankees Outplay Red Sox In 9-3 Victory At Fenway Park (Video)

The Red Sox had a less-than-stellar performance as a team in Tuesday night’s game against the New York Yankees, but that was certainly not the case for the rival team.

The Sox got their first look at Japanese ace Masahiro Tanaka. Though Tanaka allowed back-to-back home runs off of David Ortiz and Mike Napoli in the fourth inning, those were his only two earned runs, pitching 7 and 1/3 innings and striking out seven in the Yankees’ 9-3 victory.

Check out what Don Orsillo and Jerry Remy had to say about the Yankees’ performance against the Sox in the video above.
