Wednesday’s Boston Red Sox-Tampa Bay Rays game at Fenway Park has been postponed because of bad weather.
The forecast calls for a sustained period of rain to continue throughout the evening, with temperatures in the low 40s.
The Red Sox and Rays will play a day-night doubleheader Thursday. Wednesday night’s game has been rescheduled for 1:05 p.m. ET Thursday, while Thursday’s regularly scheduled game remains at 7:10 p.m. ET.
Tickets for Wednesday’s game will be good for admission to the rescheduled game at 1:05 p.m. Thursday, and Dustin Pedroia bobbleheads will be given away to all fans in attendance.
Tickets for Thursday’s originally scheduled 7:10 p.m. game will remain valid for that contest.
Both of Thursday’s games will air live on NESN.
