Wichita State’s Cleanthony Early made a horrible error on the court Thursday night.

The 2014 NCAA basketball slam dunk competition was held at Moody Coliseum in Dallas, giving college stars the opportunity to show off their jams and slams. Although he’s previously proven himself to be a master of the dunk, Early wasn’t so skilled this time.

The senior forward was trying to dunk over a pile of people when things took a turn for the worst. Early succeeded in hurtling the props, but he then proceeded to face-plant on the parquet and slide down the court.

Eastern Kentucky’s Marcus Lewis came out on top as this year’s winner. Early, a possible first-round pick in the 2014 NBA draft, will have to stick with his awesome hoop skills of years past and refrain from tumbling once he goes pro.
