Two New York Yankees fans had a brief moment of fame Tuesday. That fame ended with a whole lot of pain.

In the eighth inning of the game against the Baltimore Orioles, two fanatics donning Yankees jerseys decided to run onto the field at Yankee Stadium, and the results weren’t pretty.

Members of the Yankees security staff quickly closed in on the slow-footed fans and displayed some solid tackling skills in bringing both of them down. The fans were quickly led off the field in handcuffs and likely will have some jail time to recover from the hard hits they took.

On the bright side, though, the fans didn’t miss much. Yankees starter Ivan Nova and reliever Vidal Nuno allowed seven runs each as Baltimore walloped New York 14-5.
