Milwaukee Brewers left fielder Khris Davis robbed Freddie Freeman of a home run during the third inning of Monday night’s game against the Atlanta Braves — until he didn’t.

Davis raced back and scaled the outfield wall of Turner Field as he made an impressive leaping catch on Freeman’s opposite-field blast. But the happiness for Milwaukee was short-lived as Davis’ glove, along with the ball, ended up falling over the outfield wall.

Davis got the run back just a couple innings later, though, hitting a two-run home run in the fifth. Unfortunately it wasn’t enough for Milwaukee as they eventually went on to lose 9-3.
