Bryant is the only New England school in the tournament, earning a bid by knocking off Sacred Heart 6-2 in 12 innings Saturday to win the Northeast Conference championship. The Bulldogs reached the national tourney for the first time last season, going 1-2 in regional play with a win over Arkansas.

Houston will be Bryant’s first-round opponent, with the game scheduled for 8 p.m. ET Friday.
