Outfielder Carlos Gomez recently became a rich man, signing three-year, $24 million contract extension with the Milwaukee Brewers that will keep him with the club through 2016.

Now, he just has to act like a rich man, and the 28-year-old is apparently going to hilarious lengths to accomplish that goal.

In this week’s issue of Sports Illustrated, Gomez’s teammate, Ryan Braun, recounted an awesome tale of what Gomez did to try to “fit in” with his wealthy teammate.

If Braun’s story is true, the fact that Gomez actually decided to Google “rich-people conversations” to learn how to relate to wealthy people is nothing short of spectacular.

How he managed to get a plate full of kiwi, though, is a different story.
