The Dallas Cowboys’ 2014 season already is off to a disastrous start.

The Cowboys just got on the practice field for organized team activities Tuesday, and one of their best defensive players might have suffered a serious injury. Lee has missed 16 games in the past two seasons with toe and neck injuries.

UPDATE (4:50 p.m.): ESPN’s Adam Schefter has the grim news that Cowboys fans feared.

UPDATE (7:30 p.m.): The Star Telegram released video of the play on which Lee was injured, and it certainly didn’t look good.
