David Ross, Edward MujicaThe losing streak finally is over.

The Boston Sox ended a 10-game skid with a thrilling, come-from-behind 8-6 win over the Atlanta Braves on Monday afternoon, and they’ll look to make it two in a row at Turner Field on Tuesday night.

The Red Sox’s hopes for another victory stand behind left-hander Jon Lester, who was roughed up in his last outing against the Toronto Blue Jays. Lester will have his usual batterymate behind the plate in David Ross, who replaces the red-hot A.J. Pierzynski at catcher and bats seventh.

Lester also will take his chances at the plate in Tuesday’s interleague matchup, batting ninth. The 30-year-old pitcher is still looking for his first career hit, as he is hitless in 38 career plate appearances.

The rest of the Red Sox’s lineup remains unchanged from Monday, with David Ortiz once again starting in the field at first base.
