Derick Brassard Hammers Slap Shot Past Dustin Tokarski On Breakaway (Video)

The Montreal Canadiens might know New York Rangers forward Derick Brassard is injured, but on Sunday night, it was Brassard dishing out some hurt to the Habs.

After Francis Bouillon tied things up at one in the second period, Brassard gave the Rangers the lead with less than a minute remaining in the middle frame of Game 4 of the Eastern Conference final with a beauty of a goal.

The New York center buried an absolute blast past Dustin Tokarski on the breakaway to put the Blueshirts up 2-1 heading into the second intermission.

It isn’t every day you see the ol’ slap shot on a breakaway, so enjoy the goal in the video below.
