Devin McCourty took to the streets of Boston to make sure its residents stay safe over the summer.

The New England Patriots starting free safety must love a good pun, because he wore a sign that read “FREE SAFETY ADVICE” while giving out free advice about safety (get it?) for Sports Illustrated Extra Mustard.

McCourty handed out meat thermometers, told runners to keep their shoes tied and even instructed Boston residents on how to put out a kitchen fire (don’t use water).
