Soccer fans in the United States shouldn’t have any problems watching the 2014 FIFA World Cup in English.
ESPN unveiled details of its World Cup coverage on Friday. The broadcast giant will air 53 of the tournament’s 64 games on cable television networks ESPN and ESPN2, and another 10 — including the World Cup final — will be shown on the national free-to-air network ABC.
Fans also can watch live games on computers, phones and tablets using the WatchESPN service. ESPN Radio and SiriusXM will broadcast games on radio.
Three studio hosts and 11 analysts will offer full insight into the soccer action, while three news reporters will be in Brazil covering teams, venues and other breaking stories.
ESPN Films will follow the U.S. national team’s final preparations for the World Cup with a six-episode series (premiering on May 13) that brings fans behind the scenes.
Univision will broadcast the World Cup in Spanish in the United States.
The World Cup kicks off on June 12. The final takes place on July 13.
