Felix DoubrontThe Boston Red Sox received a much-needed day off Monday after being swept by the Detroit Tigers over the weekend at Fenway Park.

The Red Sox are back in action Tuesday night and will send right-handed pitcher Felix Doubront to the mound against the Toronto Blue Jays in the hopes of snapping a four-game losing streak.

Doubront was the last Red Sox pitcher to record a win, allowing only one run over 6 1/3 innings while striking out five batters in a 9-4 victory over the Minnesota Twins on May 14.

Boston’s lineup remains relatively unchanged from Sunday night, but Jonny Gomes will replace left-handed-hitting Grady Sizemore in left field and hit fifth against Toronto lefty J.A. Happ.

Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts will drop to the six hole in the lineup, and David Ross will start behind the plate and bat eighth.
