Ichiro Suzuki Lookalikes Invade Angel Stadium In Full Uniform (Video)

Two of Ichiro Suzuki’s biggest fans were in attendance Tuesday night at Angel Stadium — and that’s no exaggeration.

The men showed up to the New York Yankees-Los Angeles Angels game dressed head-to-toe in full Ichiro uniforms — one wearing the outfielder’s current New York gear and one throwing it back to Ichiro’s Seattle Mariners days. Their attention to detail was highly impressive, right down to the wristbands, sunglasses and trademark Ichiro turtleneck.

The craziest part of this whole stunt, though, was that Ichiro didn’t enter the game until the bottom of the ninth inning, when he came in as a defensive replacement for Carlos Beltran. So these guys did all this work — and, one would expect, sat through an entire game — to watch their idol play just three outs in the field.

They got their money’s worth, though, launching into an elaborate stretching routine in the right field seats when Yankees manager Joe Girardi finally gave Ichiro the nod.
