Jermaine O’Neal claims he will play in Game 7 “short of God coming back for the rapture or (a torn) ACL,” but the knee injury that forced the Golden State Warriors center to leave Thursday’s playoff game against the Los Angeles Clippers did not look good.

O’Neal, who has received extensive playing time in the series as a result of an injury to starting center Andrew Bogut, made up his mind about the lowered-shoulder hit Clippers big man Glen Davis delivered early in the Warriors’ 100-99 victory.

“I looked at it as just a dirty play,” O’Neal said, according to Yahoo! Sports. “I’m not going to try to dive into somebody’s legs. It wasn’t a scramble for the ball. … Either he has terrible balance as a pro athlete, or that was a dirty play.”

Well, it might be both. Davis is not known for being graceful, nor has he been above some extracurricular contact in the past.

If you don’t mind watching joints bend in the wrong direction, check out the play in the video below.
