Day 1 of the 2014 NFL draft wouldn’t be complete without one truly Browns moment.
Cleveland’s draft itself actually worked out relatively well, as the Browns selected Oklahoma State cornerback Justin Gilbert eight overall and — thanks to a number of draft-night trades — still were able to choose Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel with the 22nd pick.
But in the rush to announce that Johnny Football will now be wearing brown and orange, the folks behind the Browns’ Twitter account slipped up on some basic grammar principles.
