Guys, shield your eyes.

Anaheim Ducks forward Corey Perry got a little too comfortable in the Los Angeles Kings’ crease Monday night, and Kings goalie Jonathan Quick responded by using his blocker hand to punch Perry where no man wants to be punched.

Quick was given a roughing minor for his sneak attack, but Kings fans might argue that Perry — a noted pest whose agitation tactics Monday night included squirting water into the glove of L.A. forward Jeff Carter — had it coming after sliding in skates-first at their netminder.

Retaliation aside, Quick was stellar in Game 2 of the teams’ second-round playoff series, finishing with 37 saves in a 3-1 win for Los Angeles. It was the second straight victory away from home for the Kings, who will now look to push the Ducks to the brink as the series shift to the Staples Center on Thursday for Game 3.
