It looks as though Louis C.K. needed a summer home, and this three-story, 4,957 square-foot pad that Babe Ruth once summered at is quite the “cottage.”
The creator of FX’s hit show “Louie” bought the Shelter Island, N.Y., home for $2.49 million, according to Jennifer Gould Keil of the New York Post.
The home was constructed in 1901 and has six bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms and five fireplaces. Having more fireplaces than bathrooms may not have been Ruth’s smartest idea, but to each his own.
