Luis Suarez Liverpool AwardsLuis Suarez’s trophy-laden week continued Tuesday evening when he scooped up a trio of Liverpool’s end-of-season awards.

Suarez won the Liverpool Players’ Player of the Year Award, the Liverpool Fans’ Player of the Year Award and the Goal of the Season Award at Liverpool’s inaugural Players’ Awards Dinner. The honors recognize his excellent performances in 2013-14.

Suarez has scored 31 league goals in 32 games to help Liverpool return to the ranks of the Premier League elite and mount a sustained challenge for the domestic championship.

Suarez’s volley from 40 yards out against Norwich City on Dec. 4 earned him the club’s Goal of the Season Award.

Suarez might need to build an extension to his trophy case in the near future, as his hat-trick of Liverpool awards joins the 2013-14 PFA Players’ Player of the Year Award that he won last week and the FWA Footballer of the Year Award that he claimed this week.
