The Marshall Henderson controversy machine has fired back up.
The polarizing former Ole Miss basketball player spoke out Monday morning on social media against St. Louis Rams draftee Michael Sam, whom ESPN showed kissing his boyfriend Saturday after being selected in the seventh round of the NFL draft.
ESPN repeatedly has re-aired Sam’s emotional reaction in the wake of the former Missouri linebacker’s selection, and Henderson tweeted that he is “boycotting sportscenter” until that ceases.

Henderson’s comments were roundly blasted by fellow Twitter users, as was the case with recently suspended Miami Dolphins safety Don Jones and retired running back Derrick Ward, and Ole Miss athletic director Ross Bjork released a statement condemning the remarks.
Nearly an hour after his initial tweet, though, Henderson sent a series of tweets saying his comments were part of a social experiment he was assisting a friend with.
Henderson averaged 19 points per game as a senior this past season and is an extreme long shot to be picked in the upcoming NBA draft.
