The Milwaukee Bucks are putting all their ping pong balls in one basket.

While some NBA teams might shy away from having the worst record in the league last season, the Bucks appear to be embracing their spot at the bottom with their latest fan giveaway.

By finishing with a 15-67 record in 2013-14, the Bucks enter the lottery with a 25 percent chance of landing the No. 1 pick in what many view as a loaded 2014 NBA draft. That means Milwaukee’s fate will ride on the bounce of a ping pong ball, and the Bucks clearly hope luck is on their side by promoting their latest slogan, “Own the Future. Win the Lottery.”

A quick look at the team’s Twitter feed shows a number of lottery-related posts, including an advertisement for a NBA lottery viewing party and a creation of the hashtag #BucksLuck.

As for Boston Celtics fans, they’re hoping the Bucks’ luck runs out May 20. The Celtics had the fifth-worst record in the NBA last season but still have an 8.8 percent chance of winning the first pick.

May the luckiest team win.
