It turns out there’s an upside to being the laughingstock of the nation for 50 Cent — no speeding tickets.

The rapper threw out what might actually be the worst ceremonial first pitch ever at the New York Mets game Tuesday, and on Friday, 50 appeared on “Good Morning America” to talk about the embarrassing blunder.

The 38-year-old took all of the jeering in stride, especially that done by the New York City Police. He told GMA that his remarkably bad throw got him out of trouble when he was pulled over recently, with New York’s finest opting to laugh at him rather than write him a ticket.

“You know what, I actually got pulled over by New York City Police,” the rapper said. “They pulled me over in my car. He pulled me over and I said “I got my license,’ right, because I was a little nervous. As soon as he pulled me over, I was like ‘what’d I do?’ And then he said, ‘you know that pitch was terrible.’

“He didn’t give me a ticket, no nothing. He said, ‘I don’t want to mess up your day because you made me laugh.'”
