Organized team activities may not seem like the most vital part of the NFL offseason, but they serve their purpose.
The New England Patriots kicked off their OTAs on Tuesday, and the team will benefit most from the mental aspect of the activities.
Full contact is not allowed in these practices, so teams spend a lot of time getting to know formations, as well as each other. With big additions like cornerbacks Darrelle Revis and Brandon Browner, the Pats will benefit from getting those key players on the same page.
