Bill BelichickFOXBORO, Mass. — The New England Patriots did trade down in the 2014 NFL draft. They just did it a little later than some assumed.

The Patriots traded their third-round pick, 93rd overall, to the Jacksonville Jaguars for a fourth-rounder and a sixth-rounder Friday night. The Jaguars used the pick on Miami offensive lineman Brandon Linder.

Per NESN.com’s Doug Kyed, the Patriots will receive the 105th and 179th overall picks as a result of the trade.
