During the Tampa Bay Rays’ three-game series at Fenway Park, manager Joe Maddon managed to grumpily appear in a fan selfie and provide a young Boston Red Sox fan with some much-need warmth.
According to Twitter user Justin Some, Maddon saw a young boy freezing while he watched Thursday night’s game from the third base line. The likable skipper gave the boy a new Tampa Bay hat to keep him warm.
A class-act gesture from Maddon, for sure.
