Red Sox Struggled To Score Runners In Rays’ Doubleheader Sweep (Video)

The Boston Red Sox didn’t have much trouble scoring baserunners last year, when they were the best offensive team in the American League. However, they’ve struggled greatly with runners in scoring position so far this season.

The Red Sox were 4-for-20 with runners in scoring position during Thursday’s day-night doubleheader against the Tampa Bay Rays, and that factored heavily into both losses.

In the video above, NESN’s Adam Pellerin and Jim Rice discussed what the Red Sox should do to fix that problem.
