Roger GoodellThe NFL draft could be coming to Boston.

Boston was among seven cities that have applied to host a future draft, an NFL source told the New York Post’s Bart Hubbuch on Wednesday. The NFL is considering cycling venues for upcoming drafts.

New Orleans, Philadelphia, Orlando, Chicago, Los Angeles and Canton, Ohio also have applied to host the draft in future years. The draft has been held annually in New York for decades and at Radio City Music Hall since 2006.

The draft had to be moved back two weeks this year because of a scheduling conflict with Radio City Music Hall.
