Richard Sherman will be sticking around the Pacific Northwest for the long haul.
The All-Pro cornerback posted on his website Wednesday that he and the Seattle Seahawks have agreed to terms on a four-year, $57.4 million contract extension, $40 million of which is guaranteed.
Sherman recorded 48 tackles and an NFL-high eight interceptions for the Super Bowl champion Seahawks last season. He is entering the final year of his rookie contract, meaning the new extension likely will keep him in Seattle through the 2018 season.
