Eight players are in the running to be on the cover of EA Sports’ “NHL 15” video game, but T.J. Oshie could have executed the winning move in a different way than he usually does.
Oshie’s fiancée, Lauren Cosgrove, tweeted a photo of the St. Louis Blues winger shamelessly using their adorable infant daughter as a way to garner votes.

Boston Bruins center Patrice Bergeron is among the other cover choices, which also include Logan Couture, Drew Doughty, Matt Duchene, Phil Kessel, P.K. Subban and Erik Karlsson.
That face makes even us want to pick Oshie over Boston’s own. But if the EA Sports cover curse is real, maybe it wouldn’t be such a bad thing if Bergeron lost to Oshie.
