Thanks to the power of Twitter, one high school football player went to prom with the cheerleader of his dreams.
Back in February, Mike Ramirez, a senior in the small town of Crosby, Texas, reached out to a Houston Texans cheerleader on Twitter in the hopes of landing her as a prom date if he got 10,000 retweets. It started largely as a joke, but Caitlyn agreed, and just 27 hours later, “Big Mike” had secured a date all of his friends would be envious of.

The big night finally arrived Saturday, and Caitlyn made good on her promise.

But Caitlyn didn’t go it alone. She brought some of her fellow Texans cheerleaders along to support her when the couple met for dinner before heading off to the big dance.

The two appeared to have a wonderful time together, proving if you can tweet it, you can achieve it.
