Tuukka Rask: Canadiens’ First-Period Goal ‘Took The Energy Out Of Us’ (Video)

The Montreal Canadiens shut out the Boston Bruins 4-0 Monday night at Bell Centre, ensuring a Game 7 in the second-round Stanley Cup playoff series.

With their backs against the wall, the Habs came out flying and got on the board just 2:11 into the game with a Lars Eller goal. The B’s never managed to dig themselves out of the early hole, as the Canadiens tacked on two more goals in the second period and added an empty-netter in the final 20 minutes to secure the must-win game.

But that first tally is what Tuukka Rask believed did in the Bruins.

Check out the video above to hear more from the Bruins goaltender after the game.
