Who says you need to bring your glove to the ballgame if you want to catch a souvenir?

A young fan at a Los Angeles Angels game proved that point on Sunday with an impressive barehanded catch on a foul ball in the ninth inning.

The fan, who was stationed in the first row of the upper deck down the left field line, threw caution to the wind and leaned over the railing to make the amazing snag. Check it out below.

The young Angels supporter clearly came to play, as his Angels outfit was topped off by an impressive display of red face paint. As for his favorite team, well, they didn’t fare so well.

The Texas Rangers roughed up Los Angeles starting pitcher Tyler Skaggs for six runs in just 2.2 innings as they cruised to a 14-3 blowout win.
