With just one hit, one walk, four strikeouts, and no earned runs, right-handed Boston Red Sox starter Brandon Workman’s stat line against the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards on Tuesday night was impressive.

It’s even more impressive considering he’s just 25 years old and pitched through a lengthy rain delay.

Sox catcher A.J. Pierzynski pointed this out during a postgame interview, calling attention to the fact that Workman is just a “young pup” with only a small amount of big league experience.
