Johnny Manziel’s trademark celebration has gone worldwide.
During Algeria’s dominant first half against South Korea in the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Islam Slimani opened the scoring with an impressive goal in the 26th minute. But it was what he did after his score that Johnny Football enthusiasts will enjoy.
Slimani busted out the “money” celebration that has become Manziel’s signature gesture.
While the chances of Slimani actually knowing who the heck the Heisman Trophy winner is are slim, it’s safe to say these two would probably get along pretty well.
Slimani’s hand gesture was also good luck for the Algerians, as they went on to defeat South Korea 4-2.
