Boston City Hall Will Host USA-Belgium World Cup Watch Party Tuesday

World Cup party BostonBoston’s first 2014 World Cup viewing party was so much fun, Mayor Marty Walsh is throwing another one Tuesday.

Team USA squares off against Belgium at 4 p.m. ET on July 1, but fans are encouraged to arrive at Boston City Hall Plaza (located at One City Hall Square) to watch the game on a big screen at 3:30 p.m. Walsh has partnered with the New England Revolution to host the watch party.

Thursday’s game, which the U.S. lost 1-0 to Germany, drew thousands of fans to Boston City Hall Plaza.

Team USA has entered to knockout round, so it must beat Belgium to advance.

The Rev Girls, the Battalion street team and Revolution mascot Slyde all will be on hand for the event, which also will feature giveaways and other fan activities. Make sure to arrive in your best red, white and blue get-up.
