Brock HoltAfter going 2-7 on a nine-game road trip, the Boston Red Sox will look to get back in the win column as they open up a four-game series with the Cleveland Indians at Fenway Park on Thursday night.

The Tribe swept the Red Sox to open up the long road trip, but Boston will look to avoid that this time around with Jon Lester taking the mound in the opener. Lester has battled inconsistency this season, and he’s coming off a start against the Detroit Tigers in which they tagged him for five runs and 12 hits over 4 1/3 innings of work.

Stephen Drew will once again be out of the lineup with Jonathan Herrera taking over the duties at shortstop for the third game in a row. Drew is listed as day-to-day with an oblique injury and this marks the fourth consecutive game he has missed.

After making a couple of solid starts in the outfield, Brock Holt will return to the infield, getting the start at third base and leading off as Xander Bogaerts will get the night off. Daniel Nava will fill the gap left by Holt in left field with Grady Sizemore and Jackie Bradley Jr. rounding out the outfield.
