Chicago Cubs players were some of the many Americans working Monday night during the United States’ World Cup opener against Ghana.

Fortunately for them, they didn’t have to settle for a phone app or a tiny television in a cubicle to keep up with Team USA. They watched the game on the big screen at Marlins Park, all while taking batting practice before their game against Miami.

It’s just another perk of being a Major League Baseball player — even if it is with the lowly Cubs.

Hopefully for the players, the guy operating the big screen put the game on in time because the Americans struck quickly.
