Wrigley Field played host Sunday to a nice little display of fan sportsmanship.

It took place during the fifth inning of the Chicago Cubs eventual 4-3 loss to the Miami Marlins. Marlins outfielder Marcell Ozuna lifted a foul ball into the seats along the right field line, and one Cubs fan, after initially getting a hand on it, bobbled it away.

The guy clearly wasn’t happy, but after right fielder Nate Schierholtz lobbed the ball back into the stands, the Marlins fan who caught it turned around and tossed it back to him. After basking in his foul ball glory for a few moments, Mr. Cubs Fan then made the play of the day by handing the ball over to the Marlins fan’s young son.

On an unrelated note, Sunday was 1942 Throwback Day at Wrigley, meaning the Cubs took the field in these beauties.
