“The Mighty Ducks” is one of the 20th century’s greatest cinematic masterpieces, and if you disagree, you’ll have J.J. Watt to answer to.
The Houston Texans defensive end made every ’90s kid jealous Wednesday when he tweeted a new gift he received from his family. Apparently the answer to “What do you get an NFL defensive end who has millions of dollars to his name?” is pretty simple. When in doubt, you go with the Ducks.
Watt tweeted that he received personalized, authentic-looking Ducks jersey from the first installment of “The Mighty Ducks” movie series. The jersey, which features Watt’s name and No. 99 on the back, is just fantastic.

Watt’s love for hockey is no joke, either. The athletic freak had his hockey skills showcased in an Instagram video earlier this year. Watt has said that Bruins captain Zdeno Chara is his favorite NHL player, and he spoke about his love for puck last fall.
“I grew up in Wisconsin playing hockey,” he told MMQB.com. “I mean, I started when I was 3 years old on skates. I played all over — in Canada all the time, all over the U.S., over in Germany for a 10-day tournament. Hockey, honestly was my first love. The excitement, the fast pace, the intensity of the game. … I still love it to this day.”
Now, Watt has a brand new jersey for the next time he wants to work on his triple deke.
